Compare the cost and convenience of the Intimate Rose Large Dilator Set vs buying each item individually. See when the bundle saves you money and when separate purchases make more sense.
Quick answer
For most people starting or continuing pelvic floor therapy, the Intimate Rose Large Dilator Set bundled with the Vibrating Pelvic Wand and lubricant offers better value than buying each item separately, saving roughly $57 compared to individual purchases.
What you get in the bundle vs buying separately
The Large Dilator Set includes four progressive sizes (5 through 8) of high-quality silicone dilators, a Vibrating Pelvic Wand, and a bottle of Serenity Lubricant. Buying these items individually would cost around $164, while the bundle is priced at about $107. That's a savings of roughly $57, plus the convenience of one shipment.
If you already own a pelvic wand or have a preferred lubricant, buying just the dilator set separately might be more economical. But for those new to pelvic therapy or wanting a complete kit, the bundle simplifies the process and ensures compatibility.
When the bundle is not the best choice
If you already have a vibrating wand or a lubricant you trust, purchasing the Large Dilator Set on its own avoids paying for items you won't use. Similarly, if you only need a single dilator size (e.g., size 5) rather than the full progression, buying individually may be more targeted.
The bundle also assumes you want all four sizes. If your therapy plan only requires sizes 5 and 6, for example, you'd be paying for sizes 7 and 8 you may not need yet.
Decision rules for choosing bundle vs separate
- Start here if you are new to pelvic therapy: Choose the bundle. You get the dilator set, vibrating wand, and lubricant in one purchase, saving money and ensuring everything works together.
- If you already own a pelvic wand or lubricant: Buy the Large Dilator Set alone. You avoid paying for items you already have, and you can use your preferred products. Check if your existing lubricant is compatible with silicone dilators (water-based is best).
- If you only need one or two sizes from the set: Consider buying individual dilators separately. The bundle includes all four sizes, so if you only need sizes 5 and 6, you'd pay for unused sizes. If you anticipate needing larger sizes later, the bundle still saves money in the long run.
- If you want the vibrating wand but not the dilators: Purchase the Vibrating Pelvic Wand on its own. The bundle is designed for those who need both dilators and the wand.
